Among his peace

Sins took us further from the Father,

Out of that water onto dry land, operating under the way of man.

Most don’t bother to contemplate the think pieces.

Still look for peace underneath bare ground, only you and the creator once the sun goes down.

And you get deeper into the feelings, coping mechanisms no longer appealing.

But keep the eyes closed for closure.

Protect the heart at all costs even at the cost,

glory to God for the broken bridges we’ve flown over.

October writing challenge day # 19: Hues

Grasping onto promises from which we view standing on the edge of faith and sight
Where hues merge to form ink written on our dna in between lines of eternity.
Creation cried out in evidence that these things were crafted under purpose, handled and kept in place in ways the carnal mind cannot comprehend.
Frames made lasting impressions upon us, capturing the essence for existence and therefore propelling us to operate with meaning before exiting.

October writing challenge day # 17: The middle of everything

These times run away
Seconds slip into fragmented memories,
Often piecing it all back together backwards.
We tried to capture in real time, burning holes through our hands so we resort to living through swipes that give light to everything in the now.
Etched by the small hands.
These stones often don’t disappear
But rather are augmented through our everyday reality.

October writing challenge day # 15: Life’s breath

Reality from the wounds of men
Reality from high hopes hanging on skyscrapers
Reality from a self built concept constructed from lack of knowledge
Reality from a lack logical options that kill optimism.
Reality from fear and only seeing fragments of the larger print.
Reality from inferior feelings of living among society but feeling forgotten
A reality of living within purpose handcrafted by our creator.
A reality from finding our way through losses and lessons, sifting through the broken pieces to grasp the blessings.
All these realities interwoven into the meaning behind every movement, and silent thoughts manifested through lives we live.
