We either turn over to new leafs or let them burn out.
What remains is yet to be determined so we search through every season to find a sense of self.
The more we state our indifference
towards the opinions of others the easier it is to believe.
But when these leafs become worn, and the light from the sun actually feels warm just know that change is more
than a catchphrase, more than a cliche
for the new year or a nice quote to quote that will help us float through our flaws.
This turning of leafs is a door closing, opening ourselves to vulnerabilities in a foreign land.
The leafs that await us make these seem as if they were never, ever meant to be.
